CCV – a European player in point-of-sale terminals and transaction processing – launches its own Payment Service Provider (PSP) for the processing of online transactions. The Payment Service Provider service will be branded ‘CCV PAY’ and will have a strong focus on the Dutch and Belgium e-commerce markets. CCV PAY will be introduced today at the ‘Webwinkel Vakdagen’ – one of the most important e-commerce events in the Netherlands.
‘CCV PAY’ first available to CCV Shop merchants
Over 15.000 Dutch and Belgian customers of CCV Shop are the first to benefit from this new PSP service. CCV Shop is the commerce platform formerly known as ‘Biedmeer’ which was acquired by CCV Group back in 2014. CCV Pay is to support multiple payment methods such as iDEAL, VISA, MasterCard, e-Maestro, PayPal and Bancontact / Mister Cash. The new PSP service will become available to other shopping carts and commerce platforms during the course of 2016.
Pre-Integrated in CCV Shop
The new CCV Pay service is fully integrated into the CCV Shop software and does not require any coding or integration from its merchants. There is no need for CCV shop merchants to enter into a separate agreement with a Payment Service Provider and invest in technical integrations. They will have one point of contact for everything that has to do with their ecommerce activities. Future CCV PAY service updates will seamlessly be integrated into the CCV Shop, without any hassle for its merchants.
CCV PAY Fees
From the CCV PAY website. it can be derived that CCV PAY will not charge fixed monthly costs and will only charge a commission for transactions and refunds. CCV Shop merchants will be able to profit from even more competitive transaction fees. Pricing schedule:
- iDEAL: 0.35 euro (CCV Shop merchants: 0.29 euro)
- Bancontact / MisterCash: 2% + 0.25 euro (CCV shop merchants: 1.75% + 0.25 euro)
- MasterCard and Visa: 2.2% (CCV Shop merchants: 2%)
- PayPal: 0,10 euro + PayPal charges (CCV Shop merchants: 0.10 euro + PayPal charges)
- e-Maestro: 2% + 0.25 euro (CCV Shop merchants: 1.75% + 0.25 euro)
iDEAL and Bancontact / MisterCash transactions are settled to merchants the next day.
