How To Promote GSheetConnector
The commission you earn from promoting GSheetConnector is directly impacted by your marketing strategies. We encourage the use of promotional methods that add value to GSheetConnector and attract genuine, loyal customers. It is recommended to create unbiased written content, videos about using Contact Forms & WooCommerce or tutorials that appropriately showcase GSheetConnector. As an affiliate, it is mandatory to adhere to all relevant privacy laws, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Remember that using the personal data of a friend or business partner without proper consent is prohibited when promoting GSheetConnector publicly.
Here are some commonly used promotional methods by successful affiliates that can inspire you:
- Inform your clients, customers, or friends about GSheetConnector and share your affiliate referral link. Let them know that you use and highly recommend it, but also that you will earn a small commission for the referral.
- Write an unbiased review, a blog post, or create a video on Contact Forms & WooCommerce topics and mention GSheetConnector where relevant. Don’t forget to link back to our website with your affiliate referral link and provide proper disclosure.
- Engage a wider audience with your social network accounts. Share our product on Twitter with your affiliate referral link, post about us on Facebook with your affiliate link, or communicate about affiliate marketing with your referral link to your LinkedIn followers. Spam-free promotion is an effective way to increase referrals.
- Write a review or a blog post about GSheetConnector or affiliate marketing and link to our website with your referral link. • Provide valuable insights and answer relevant questions in communities or personally and encourage others to use your referral link if they decide to purchase.
To ensure compliance with our marketing policies, please adhere to the following guidelines when promoting our products:
- Do not engage in false or deceptive advertising, sweepstakes, or gambling in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Do not provide incentives to users to click on ads or complete offers that provide cash, points, prizes, or automatic entry into contests, drawings, or sweepstakes.
- Avoid any promotional materials that contain trade disparagement, libelous, defamatory, or infringing content, and do not include machine-readable code that could harm the recipient’s computer.
- Do not include obscene, pornographic, offensive, hateful, threatening, harmful, defamatory, libelous, harassing, discriminatory, or graphically violent materials on your websites or videos or solicit unlawful behavior.
- Always comply with the laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, licenses, permits, judgments, decisions, or other requirements of any applicable governmental authority, including the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, as well as FTC rules and guidelines on endorsements, disclosures, and testimonials.
If you decide to write a review of GSheetConnector, it is important to disclose upfront that you receive a percentage of each sale made. Additionally, all endorsements must reflect your honest opinions or experiences. Any disclosures must be clear, conspicuous, and not hidden. The primary principle is that your endorsement must accurately represent your experience and opinion.
You must also follow the following guidance:
- You cannot write about your experience with a product if you haven’t tried it.
- If you were paid to try a product and you didn’t like it, you cannot say that it is great.
- You cannot make claims about a product that require proof you do not have. For instance, you cannot say a product can cure a specific disease if there is no scientific evidence to support it.
- Moreover, disclosures must be made clearly, frequently, and conspicuously. Such disclosures help readers to form an informed opinion about the information you provide by understanding the possible influence your relationship with our company might have on your endorsement of our products.
Linking in Articles and/or Videos
When including your GSheetConnector affiliate link in articles or videos, it is essential to provide a clear disclosure about your affiliate relationship and connection with our company. The disclosure must be prominently displayed on the same page as the link, and it should be easily noticeable, understandable, and require no additional action from the user to view. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) mandates that disclosures must not be hidden in obscure areas, such as buried pages or hyperlinks with poor labeling. The disclosure must be presented either before or in close proximity to the affiliate link.
Here’s a quick example for you:
Disclosure: Some of the links in this post/video are “affiliate links” – what this means is that if you click on the link and choose to make a purchase, I will receive an affiliate commission.
Sharing On Social Networks
If you use your GSheetConnector affiliate link on social networks, it is important to clearly disclose the nature of the links and your material connection with our company. When creating social media posts that contain affiliate links, the disclosure must be included within the post itself.
Example Twitter Disclosure:
“Hello everyone, I wanted to share that I have been using the GSheetConnector plugin for #cf7 or #wpforms or #gravityforms or #ninjaforms or #elementorforms or #avadaforms or #diviforms or #woocommerce on my website and it has been a valuable tool! If you are interested in using it too, you can find my affiliate link here: [insert affiliate link]. It is important to note that I will receive a commission if you choose to make a purchase through this link. #ad #affiliate #disclosure”
The disclosure included in the post with the affiliate link is straightforward and integrated seamlessly into the content. The use of #ad and #affiliate makes it apparent to your audience that this is a sponsored post and that you have a financial association with GSheetConnector.
Additionally, it is necessary to adhere to the terms of service, terms and conditions, and other relevant legal terms between you and the platform you are utilizing.
How Not To Promote GSheetConnector
While it’s impossible to list every allowable promotion method, it’s important to note that certain methods are strictly prohibited under GSheetConnector’s affiliate program. Any promotion methods that violate these terms may result in rejected referrals and the disabling of your affiliate account. We reserve the right to take this action without notice. We appreciate your cooperation in using only permissible promotion methods to help us maintain the integrity of our product and affiliate program. As a company, we fully support our product, which is why we are vigilant about how it is marketed and seek affiliates who share our commitment to ethical practices.
- GSheetConnector may not be promoted on coupon websites
Customers who are searching for a GSheetConnector coupon are already in the market for GSheetConnector, so this method adds no value to GSheetConnector.
- Paid advertising using GSheetConnector’s trademark/brand name is prohibited
Buying ads through any service, including but not limited to Google AdWords, social media advertising, or retargeting ads using our brand keywords and your affiliate link will result in affiliate account deactivation.
- Promoting incorrect or misleading information
Any promotional activity that makes use of incorrect or misleading information will result in affiliate account deactivation. This includes false information intended to clickbait potential customers. If you are unsure of the correct information or details for promoting GSheetConnector, please contact us – we are always happy to help.
- Any type of spam is prohibited
Spam in any form – where it is a link, ad, email, or comment is prohibited. Please respect the posting rules of any 3rd-party websites you use to promote GSheetConnector. This is not an exhaustive list of spam methods – note that if we deem that your activity is spam, it is spam.
- Any illegal activity or activity deemed offensive by us is prohibited
This one really goes without saying and will result in referrals being rejected and/or your affiliate account being deactivated.
- Posing as a representative/acting in association with GSheetConnector
We’re very flattered, but please don’t pretend to be a professional associated with GSheetConnector. Affiliates are not considered employees of GSheetConnector and have no employee rights. If you wish to offer GSheetConnector optimization services and use your affiliate link when recommending GSheetConnector PRO this is acceptable.
- Pretending to be GSheetConnector is strictly prohibited
Cloning our website, copying our website, or using any of our copyrighted assets, and pretending that a site created by you is an official GSheetConnector website is unethical and prohibited (this includes using services that automatically clone websites, or place them into iframes)
Referrals older than 30 days and in good standing (i.e. the purchase has not been refunded) will be included with each commission payout (if the commission balance totals $200 or over). If a purchase is refunded, a commission won’t be paid out for that referral.
We reserve the right to reject affiliate commissions for any reason. Commission rejections may occur for the following reasons:
- The sale that the referral was based on was refunded.
- The method by which the referral was generated was in violation of our promotional policies (see above) or violated the spirit of the Affiliate Agreement.
For chargebacks on a transaction that an affiliate payout has already been made for – we will deduct that from your subsequent payout. If there is no commission in the next month, your affiliate balance will turn negative.
Referral Cookie Lifetime
GSheetConnector’s affiliate program pays out a 30% commission on all sales, including upgrades – meaning if someone upgrades to GSheetConnector PRO and then upgrades to the Multisite Licenses plan, you’ll continue to get 30% of whatever the customer you referred pays us.
The cookie lifetime is set to 60 days, and is first-click, meaning the first affiliate link will be awarded attribution for referring a user/customer. Once attributed to an affiliate, that affiliate will earn a commission on all purchases from that customer within 60 days.

These emails will be sent to affiliates only, on an ad-hoc basis, and may include important information regarding the GSheetConnector affiliate program. These emails will also provide you with relevant news and updates to help you effectively promote GSheetConnector.
Please note that as an affiliate, you may be privy to embargoed or time-sensitive information in these emails (this information may only be promoted after an embargo is lifted).
