Configure Fluent Forms Google Sheet Connector FREE Feed Settings

The FREE version of Fluent Forms Google Sheet Connector lets you connect a Fluent Form to an existing Google Sheet using the Manual Google Sheets Configuration method. Several advanced feed features are reserved for the PRO version — this guide walks through exactly what’s available on the free plan, and what you’ll see locked behind an upgrade prompt.

Not sure which version you’re using? If you see a green “You’re using GSheetConnector for Fluent Forms Lite” banner at the top of your dashboard, you’re on the FREE version.

How to Access Form Feed Settings

1. From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Fluent Forms → Google Sheet in the left sidebar.
2. Click on the Form Feeds tab at the top of the page.
3. Click Add New Feed to create a new feed, or click on an existing feed (for example, “New Feed 1”) to edit its settings.

Google Account Connection

At the top of the page, the Google Account Connection card shows which Google account and authentication method are currently connected — for example, Existing Client / Secret Key (Auto Setup). A green Connected badge confirms the connection is active, along with the connected Gmail address.

Feed Details

This section displays reference information about the feed and the form it belongs to: Form ID, Feed Name, Form Name, and Timestamp. This is available in both the FREE and PRO versions.

Manually Google Sheets Configuration (Available in FREE)

Unlike the PRO version — where Manual Configuration is an optional toggle — the FREE version connects your Google Sheet only through manual configuration. Connect your Google Sheet by entering the required sheet information:

• Sheet Name – the title of your Google Spreadsheet (for example, “FluentForm-GSC”).
• Sheet ID – the long string of letters and numbers found in your Google Sheet’s URL, between /d/ and /edit.
• Tab Name – the name of the specific tab (worksheet) inside your spreadsheet, shown at the bottom of the sheet (for example, “Sheet1”).
• Tab ID – the number found after gid= at the end of the Google Sheet URL. This is usually 0 for the first tab.

Once entered, click the eye icon to open and view the connected spreadsheet directly, then click Save Settings to store your configuration.

Unlock Advanced Features with Form Feeds (PRO Only)

Below the Manual Configuration section, an “Unlock Advanced Features with Form Feeds” panel lists everything the PRO version adds, grouped into four categories:

• Automatically Google Sheet Configuration – auto-fetch your Google Sheets list, auto-detect sheet tabs, one-click configuration, and real-time entry sync.
• Select Fields to Sync – drag-and-drop field reordering, renaming column headers, and choosing specific fields to sync.
• Header Settings & Sheet Sorting – freeze the header row, apply custom font styling, control header and row colors, and sort by any column.
• Spreadsheet Download & Google Sheets Sync – download your spreadsheet as a file, bulk sync past entries, sync by date range, and get real-time entry updates.

A green Upgrade to Unlock button lets you upgrade directly from this screen — the panel also notes that FREE users get special upgrade pricing.

PRO-Locked Sections (Preview Only in FREE)

Below the upgrade panel, the FREE version still displays the following PRO sections so you can see what they look like — but they’re marked with a PRO tag and are not functional until you upgrade:

Automatic Google Sheets Configuration (PRO)

The Sheet Name and Sheet Tab Name dropdowns appear, along with a Fetch Sheets link, but they remain inactive placeholders (“Create New” / “Select”) in the FREE version. Automatic sheet detection and one-click configuration only work once you upgrade to PRO.

Select Fields To Sync (PRO)

You can see a preview of the Field List and Submission Info tabs, with fields like Submission ID, Name, Email, Subject, and Your Message shown toggled on. In the FREE version, you cannot actually customize which fields sync, rename columns, or drag fields to reorder them — every submitted field is sent as-is.

Header Settings (PRO)

A preview of Header Behavior (Freeze Header, Sheet Sorting) and Header Style (font style, size, color, background, and row colors) is shown, but these controls are locked in the FREE version. Your Google Sheet will use default formatting until you upgrade.

Google Sheets Data Sync (PRO)

The Data Sync section is visible with Sync All Submissions / Sync by Date Range options, but the From Date and To Date fields are disabled placeholders in the FREE version. Syncing older or missed submissions in bulk requires PRO.
