The GSheetConnector for WP Core Pro Plugin allows you to sync your WordPress Posts, Pages, Users, and Comments directly to Google Sheets. The Sync Settings section helps you control the order, date range, and synchronization of your data with just one click. Follow this step-by-step guide to manage your sync settings effectively.
Step 1: Sync Posts
- Navigate to GSheetConnector WP Core → Settings → Sync Settings → Sync Posts..
- Post Orders:
- Choose Ascending to sync posts from oldest to newest.
- Choose Descending to sync posts from newest to oldest.
- Date Range (optional):
- Specify the start and end date to sync posts within a specific period.
- Click Click to Sync to append all selected posts to the Google Sheet.
Note: The plugin automatically adds new posts to your selected sheet without overwriting existing data.
Step 2: Sync Pages
- Navigate to Sync Pages in the same settings panel.
- Page Orders:
- Ascending: Oldest pages first.
- Descending: Newest pages first.
- Date Range (optional):
- Enter a custom range if you want to sync pages created or modified within a specific period.
- Click Click to Sync to send your pages to the selected Google Sheet.
Tip: Use the date range feature to sync only newly added pages and avoid duplications.
Step 3: Sync Users
- Go to Sync Users in the settings tab.
- User Orders:
- Ascending: Sync older users first.
- Descending: Sync newer users first.
- Date Range (optional):
- Select a custom date range to sync users registered during a specific period.
- Click Click to Sync to append all selected users to your Google Sheet.
Note: This feature is useful for tracking user activity, registrations, and account details in Google Sheets.
Step 4: Sync Comments
- Navigate to Sync Comments in the Sync Settings.
- Comment Orders:
- Ascending: Oldest comments first.
- Descending: Newest comments first.
- Date Range (optional):
- Filter comments to sync only those created or updated within a selected period.
- Click Click to Sync to send all comments to your Google Sheet.
Tip: Syncing comments allows you to monitor feedback, user engagement, and content interaction in a centralized sheet.
Step 5: Tips for Efficient Syncing
- Always make sure the Google Sheet is connected and accessible by your Service Account or authenticated Google account.
- Use date ranges to avoid duplicating large datasets.
