- Multi Sheet Connection — connect your form to multiple Google Sheets at once. Available only in the PRO version.
Step 4: Confirm Your Google Account Connection
Under Google Account Connection, you’ll see the Google account currently connected to this integration, along with its connection status.

Copy the Field Names

- Paste the field names into the corresponding column headers.

After completing the Manual Google Sheets Configuration, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your feed.
Test Form Submission
After saving your settings, it is recommended to test the integration.
- Open the page where your Contact Form 7 form is published.

You will see the submitted form data automatically added as a new row in the sheet under the corresponding column headers.
This confirms that your Contact Form 7 and Google Sheet integration is working correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to connect my Google account before creating a feed?
Yes. Before you can access the Google Sheets tab on your form, you must connect your Google account using either the Existing Method or the Manual Method. Without completing the integration, the Google Sheets tab won’t be available.
What's the difference between Single Sheet Connection and Multi Sheet Connection?
Single Sheet Connection lets you connect one form to one Google Sheet and is available in the Free version. Multi Sheet Connection lets you send the same form’s entries to several Google Sheets at once, and is available only in the PRO version.
Where can I find the Google Sheet ID?
Open your Google Spreadsheet in your browser. The Sheet ID is the long string of characters in the URL between /d/ and /edit.
Where can I find the Google Sheet Tab ID?
Open your Google Spreadsheet and select the required worksheet. The Tab ID appears in the URL after gid=. Copy this value and enter it in the Tab ID field.
What should I use as column headers in my Google Sheet?
Use the same field names (mail-tags) that you created in your Contact Form 7 form. In the Free version, the plugin matches your form fields with the corresponding column headers in your Google Sheet automatically based on these names.
Will the Entry Date be added automatically?
Yes. If your Google Sheet contains a column named Entry Date, the plugin will automatically store the submission date for each new Contact Form 7 entry.
What happens if my Google Sheet column names don't match my form field names?
If the column headers do not match your Contact Form 7 field names, the corresponding data may not be synchronized correctly. Make sure the column names exactly match your form field mail-tags.
Can I use an existing Google Spreadsheet?
Yes. You can connect either a new or an existing Google Spreadsheet. Simply enter the correct Sheet Name, Sheet ID, Tab Name, and Tab ID under Manual Google Sheets Configuration.
Can I choose which fields sync to Google Sheets in the Free version?
No. The “Select Fields To Sync” panel that lets you enable, disable, or rename individual fields is a PRO-only feature. In the Free version, syncing is controlled by matching column headers in your Google Sheet to your form’s field names.
Is Conditional Logic available in the Free version?
No. Conditional Logic, which lets you control when entries are sent to Google Sheets based on field values, is available only in the PRO version.
Are header styling and row color options available in the Free version?
No. Header Settings — including freeze header, sheet sorting, font style, and row colors — are PRO-only features.
My Contact Form 7 submissions are not appearing in Google Sheets. What should I check?
Verify the following:
- Your Google account is connected successfully and shows a Connected status.
- The Google Sheet ID and Tab ID are correct.
- The column headers in your Google Sheet match your Contact Form 7 field names (mail-tags).
- Single Sheet Connection is configured and saved correctly.
- The Google Spreadsheet is accessible by the connected Google account.
Can I connect different Contact Form 7 forms to different Google Sheets?
Yes. Each Contact Form 7 form has its own Google Sheets tab, so you can connect different forms to different spreadsheets using Single Sheet Connection.
