WP Core Setting

Learn how to configure GSheetConnector for WP Core Pro Plugin to sync WordPress posts, pages, users, and comments to Google Sheets effortlessly. This guide covers every step from fetching your Google Sheets to mapping headers and submitting your data.

Step 1: Create or Fetch Your Google Sheet

Before starting, ensure you have a Google Sheet ready for syncing data:

  1. Create a new Google Sheet in your Google Drive or use an existing sheet.
  2. In the GSheetConnector WP Core Settings, under Google Spreadsheet Name, check the dropdown menu.
  3. If your sheet does not appear in the dropdown, click the Fetch Sheets button.
    • This will load all Google Sheets linked to your Service Account or authenticated Google account.
  4. Once your sheet appears, select the desired sheet to use for syncing WordPress data.

Step 2: Configure Google Sheets/Tab Names

GSheetConnector allows storing data in separate tabs for Posts, Pages, Users, and Comments within a single sheet.

  1. Toggle Posts, Pages, Users, and Comments to enable tabs for each type of data.
  2. The plugin will automatically create a new tab inside the selected Google Sheet for each enabled data type.
  3. This ensures organized storage and easy management of your WordPress data.

Step 3: Select Google Sheet Headers (Column Names)

You can choose which headers (columns) to sync to your Google Sheet:

  1. Scroll down to the Google Sheet Headers section.
  2. Switch between tabs: Post Headers, Page Headers, User Headers, Comment Headers.
  3. Use the toggle buttons to select which fields you want to sync (e.g., Post Title, Post Date, Post Author, Comment Status).
  4. The selected headers will appear as column names in your Google Sheet.
  5. You can also use the Check All option to sync all available fields.

Tip: Only enable the headers you need to avoid unnecessary data in your sheet.

Step 4: Save Settings and Submit Data

  1. After selecting the Google Sheet, tab names, and headers, scroll to the bottom.
  2. Click the Submit Data
